The use of toxicity reduction agents is essential in the proper treatment and subsequent handling of hazardous material spills and process materials. A hazardous material has not been properly dealt with until it has been rendered harmless. Neutralizers minimize the risk of dealing with hazardous spills and wastes. Neutralized products and/or absorbents can be considered non-hazardous and may be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. Acid neutralizer in powder form quickly and efficiently neutralizes concentrated acid spills. The neutralization reaction generates harmless gases. The residue is environmentally harmless and easily disposed of. For maximum safety, an indicator system is included that will show when the spill is completely neutralized. One kilogram will neutralize approximately: 500 ml of sulphuric acid 96 % 550 ml of phosphoric acid 85 % 660 ml of nitric acid 70 % 250 ml of hydrochloric acid 32 % 310 ml of chlorosulphonic acid Part #: AN4KG - dry, 4kg, 4/case
