Splitting maul, 8 lbs, 36" hickory hdle (SMA80036C) by Garant
Split fire wood with the help of the Garant splitting maul. This cutting tool with a black finish, has a 8 lb forged and tempered steel head for increased strength and rigidity. The cutting edge of the blade is sharpened for a true cut. Its 36 inch (91.4 cm) varnished hickory handle absorbs shock well. It can be used with the splitting wedge. To do this, make a notch with the axe's cutting edge then drive in the wedge with the flat part of the head. This splitting maul is designed for people looking for an excellent quality/price ratio.
